Hiii! My name is Tessa and I am so incredibly excited that you are here! I can't wait to get to know each other in person but here is a little about me in a nutshell. I am an Escondido native who has strong roots in Los Angeles where both of my parents are from. A lot of my inpsiration in life comes from the energy of big cities and the magic of cultural diversity. While I do cherish the peacefulness of the country and feel very much at home in the beautiful Valleys of North County, some of my best memories are working in Orange County and LA as a freelance designer. Some of my top experiences have been stage design at Coachella, PR for Camelia Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter and Madison Beer, set design for Tyler, The Creator and Megan Trainor, Wiz Khalifa..(just to name drop a few:) and now you're probably confused as this doesn't have to do much with pilates. But if you get to know me, you'll find that maybe it does. What seemed an impossible dream as a struggling single mother of two, from a small town became a reality simply because I realized and utilized the power I had within myself.

So here I am again with another dream, but this time in an effort to help those around me. Let me explain..

Through a lot of my personal trials and hardships (and there have been many) I was ready for a change that helped people and presented another passion of mine- health and wellness. I really struggled with my own health issues after I had my kids. I found myself desperate for answers and having to find them on my own. With chronic inflammation preventing me from the intensive workouts I used to love like bootcamp and running, I had to find another way to stay fit and that is what initially lead me to pilates. It was through both reformer and mat pilates exercises I found myself able to find my strength again with limited impact on my joints and virtually no inflammatory response. Since my first day in class many years ago I have dedicated myself to helping others reach optimum physical and mental health and continue to stay vigorous with my own healthy lifestyle.

After the storm of everything I overcame, this new dream sprouted. I wanted to create a sanctuary where people could grow themselves without limiting beliefs or judgement. A place they could fuel up on good vibes and energy, where they could develop a vibrant and beautiful inner being. A place to manifest their own dreams and be guided as they build the body and mind that supports their best self- I imagined an entryway to the next level of life, similar to the one I had to find myself. I am now obsessed with the fascinating mind body connection and I use it daily to thrive. I am so thrilled to share everything I have learned through my experiences with anyone who wants to take themselves back-no matter their condition, age, lifestyle, fitness level, background or challenges they face. I want to introduce them to the best version of themselves so they can live their life fully and aligned with their true purpose. (oh, and make it fun and cute:)

Sacred Body was conceived in February of 2025. And what a wild ride it has been to open the doors. But we stayed the course through many moments of doubt and never lost sight of the reason we started this. What I am most proud of is the experienced team I put together that is the key to unlocking this path. Together, we are so thrilled to bring you this very unique and impossible dream that will now be made possible by you. I hope you stick around and join in the movement, because life is too sacred for anything else.
