My name is Tessa, and I'm the founder and owner of Sacred Body. I am so incredibly excited that you are here and I can't wait to get to know you!

A few words about myself..

I am an Escondido native who has strong roots in Los Angeles where both of my parents grew up and most of my extended family still lives. I am truly in awe of the peace and beauty of the valleys here at home, but I find that a lot of my inspiration in life comes from the energy of big cities and the fusion of diversity- the cultures, the architecture, the art, the food. I love it all. So it was only natural for me to gravitate to LA for work, where I found myself commuting at odd hours, sleeping in my car or crashing on couches to beat traffic. For years I was running on fumes and crazy deadlines all in the pursuit of creating magic because magic is what I live for. Some of my favorite opportunities have been designing stages at Coachella, creating custom PR for Camelia Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter and Madison Beer, working on set with Tyler, The Creator and creating moods in Megan Trainor's home studio.

You're probably wondering what that has to do with fitness. And I will tell you- everything. What seemed an impossible dream as a struggling single mother of two, became a reality simply because I learned how to use my own power.

I had unlocked it, and I wanted to help other people do the same.

I was dealing with my own health issues after I had my kids, I was desperate for answers and having to find them on my own. Suffering from chronic inflammation prevented me from the intensive workouts I used to love like bootcamp and running, so I had to find another way to stay fit. That is what initially lead me to methods like pilates, yoga and barre. It was through these work outs that I found my strength again. With limited impact on my joints I had virtually no inflammatory response. Since my first day on a mat many years ago I have dedicated myself to helping others reach optimum physical and mental health and create energetic wealth.

Joseph Pilates had it right all along, the prerequisite of happiness truly is, physical fitness.

I had a strong desire to create a sanctuary where people could grow not just physically but without limits in every aspect of their life. Where members could develop a deep love for themselves, build self trust and pour good energy into their community. I wanted to help strip away the limiting beliefs that keep us small and help heal nervous systems. It would be a space to recharge the soul. A space to manifest dreams and practice a mindset that supports our best selves.

I imagined an entryway or portal to the next level of life, similar to the one I had to find myself.

Where joy is the default emotion and fear doesn't hold you back.

I am completely obsessed with the fascinating mind- body connection and use it daily to thrive in my own life so I am so thrilled to share everything I have learned through my experiences with anyone who wants to live their life fully and aligned with their true purpose.

Sacred Body was conceived in February of 2025 and what a wild ride it has been to open the doors. But we stayed the course through many moments of doubt and never lost sight of the reason we started this. What I am most proud of is the experienced team I put together that is the key to bringing Sacred to life. Together, we are so thrilled to bring you this very unique and impossible dream that will now be made possible by you. I hope you join us, because life is too sacred for anything else.
